(1) There shall be an Executive Committee consisting of the following members for the purpose of conducting the work of the Council
(a) Executive Director, – Chairman
(b) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Finance – Member
(c) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development - Member (d) Joint Secretary, (Looking after Agriculture) National Planning Commission – Member
(e) Director General, Department of Agriculture – Member
(f) Director General, Department of Animal Services – Member
(g) One member nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the regional level office heads of the Council (h) one member-secretary nominated by the Executive Director from among the Program Directors of the Council; (2) The term of office of members nominated in accordance with sub-section (1) shall be two years and they may be re-nominated.
(3) If the Government of Nepal deems it necessary, it may publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and make necessary additions, reductions or changes in the members of the committee.
